They bring capabilities in market infrastructure, financial training, semiconductor technology, and AI development\u2014laying the groundwork for a more advanced and differentiated financial center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, collaboration between local institutions such as the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and NYIF is helping build a pipeline of globally trained financial professionals, addressing one of the most critical constraints in emerging financial markets: talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unlike traditional financial centers built around physical exchanges and office clusters, IFC-HCMC is designed to operate on digital-first infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Artificial intelligence is expected to play a central role in asset pricing, fraud detection, and real-time investment advisory. Meanwhile, blockchain technology provides a decentralized and transparent ledger for transaction recording, enhancing trust and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A dedicated data infrastructure is also being developed to support AI training using transaction-level data. This creates the foundation for a \u201cSingapore +1\u201d strategy, where firms diversify operations while maintaining access to Asia\u2019s financial network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, Vietnam is attempting a \u201cleapfrogging\u201d approach\u2014compressing decades of financial ecosystem development into a much shorter timeframe by leveraging technology and global partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n IFC-HCMC represents a bold attempt to move beyond the traditional definition of a financial center.
